I can’t believe that it’s here already! This Saturday is our second charity crop and I am super excited!! At the start, I kept in my head the number 15. That’s how many participants I hoped we’d have this time and the number that would make me happy. Of course, more is always great, but I was trying to keep my expectations real and not get too overzealous. Well, today, #15 signed up! I was seriously doing a big happy dance!!! Any more signups between now and then will be icing on the cake! WOOHOO!
And another good thing today, Pat came in with two 2-month workout gift certificates to a new gym in our area! She also secured a gift certificate to a nice salon for a haircut and manicure and has gone to pick up another one from a day spa!! Thank you, Pat, for doing some local donation hunting for us.
Everything is basically ready to go except for some last minute picking up of things and a few odds and ends that I need to purchase. We’ve got great silent auctions, door prizes, contest prizes, and I myself would love to have the goody bag contents!
Say a prayer for us that we raise some good money for these organizations and that we have a wonderful day with no problems!! And, after a day of sleeping on Sunday, I’ll be back with an update! : )
